The Historical Preservation Society of Cameron is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining a century old public school building for the benefit and betterment of the community.
The Society maintains a display of class photos ranging from 1909 through the mid 70's along with other school related items and memorabilia such as trophies, annuals, and original printings of the school newspaper.
The Society has also made a number of rooms available to the public for both office space and as a rentable event venue. Over the years, the halls and rooms of the Old School have played host to many reunions, parties, business meetings, garage sales, craft shows, dinners, fund raisers, and so much more.
It is the hope of the Historical Preservation Society that this century old cornerstone of Cameron history will remain available for community use for many years to come.
Contact the Historical preservation Society if you would like a tour of the building, or would like information regarding the pricing and availability of rooms.
Please check out the Old School and like them on Facebook (facebook.com/cameronhps).
