1. How late are the Cameron parks open?

Generally, parks close at 11:00 pm unless otherwise posted. The skate park closes at sunset. Lighted ball fields and tennis courts may be used later.

2. Can I reserve a shelter house for an event I am planning?

Yes. Use the facilities module on this website and submit your information and payment of $5.00 per hour and $5 processing fee. If you do not have a way to pay online for use of the facilities, contact City Hall and make your payment directly to the City of Cameron.

3. I know that skateboards are not allowed downtown on Third Street or in McCorkle Park. Where are they allowed?

For pedestrian safety, skateboards are prohibited in certain areas. Cameron recently built a skate park at Burlington and West Second Street to provide a venue for skateboarding and BMX bike riding.
