Your drinking water is delivered to your home or business through a network of pipes, which also supply water to fire hydrants for fire protection. Elevated water tanks store water to balance demands and serve as a reserve for fighting fires.
Wastewater is collected from your home or business with a system of lines that flow by gravity to the wastewater treatment plant or to one of many lift stations located throughout the City. These lift stations pump the wastewater to the treatment plant where it can be treated before it is discharged to nearby streams.
For after-hours emergencies, contact the Water Treatment Plant at 816-632-2844.
To provide the continuous flow of water and sewer service to all residents of the City of Cameron.
