TREE BOARD

The Park Board functions as the Tree Board which was created in December 2019 with the adoption of Ordinance 6120. As part of this new Ordinance, the Tree Board has created a list of trees/shrubs that are approved to be planted in the City’s rights-of-way. (APPROVED TREE LIST) The list is not exhaustive; other species may be planted with prior approval by the Public Works Director.  The Tree Board also has a list of prohibited/invasive trees & shrubs which may not be planted anywhere within the city limits of Cameron. (PROHIBITED TREE LIST)
